The next-gen of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross had been revealed the previous year globally. Now it’s time for it to hit the Indian Automotive market. S-Cross is the most premium product available from Maruti in India in its NEXA range but still, it’s not that much success when compared to its rival. But with its new generation, the main focus is on technology and safety which ultimately results in its boost sales figure.

The 48V hybrid battery pack aids at the time of frequent acceleration and also improves fuel efficiency. In terms of available transmission options, S-Cross is available in 6-Speed manual and automatic transmission options.

Moreover, in European markets S-Cross is available in Suzuki’s All-wheel drive technology which makes the vehicle sprint from 0-100kmph in less than 10 seconds (9.5 seconds approx.).

Major changes in design language

  • The major improvement is made on the front look in which it will feature new tri-LED DRL elements, with redesigned headlamps.
  • The grille is also new and features piano-black finishing along with sculpted bumper and new skid plates.
  • At the rear, the taillamps are kind of tinted adding more SUVish appeal to the vehicle.
  • The side profile will remind you of better knee and legroom in the interiors as the wheelbase of the vehicle will be around 2600mm.
  • The global version of S-Cross features a new dashboard design with the new 9-inch infotainment system and the same is expected for Indian standards as well.

Well, the new S-Cross brings new and next-gen features on board and it could be a huge success in the Indian automobile market. The major rivals of the global variant of S-Cross are the Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, etc.
