Kia Carnival Interiors

After Kia Seltos, Kia launched its second car in India which is an MPV or rather a luxurious MPV, with features similar to that Toyota Vellfire. Kia Carnivals feature some most amazing capabilities and which are too segment-first leaving the all-time competitors behind.

Technology and interiors

The interiors are really fabulous on this car and have a number of highlights. Firstly, the dashboard is dual-tone in color as obvious. Moreover, there are plenty of storage spaces on offer everywhere, the glove boxes are large enough (the lower one), the door pockets are massive, etc.

It has an 8-inch unit display as an infotainment system which is believe me looks smaller in this car as the interiors are so massive! It gets mostly all the features with reverse parking camera and connectivities such as Android Auto and Apple car play. Below the infotainment system there lies the AC controls, Kia Carnival gets 3-way climate control AC settings. On the driver’s side, the instrument cluster is of traditional style with an analog tachometer and speedometer along with a small display screen showing necessary information about the vehicle.

The steering wheel is nice to hold with the cruise controls on the right side and the controls for the audio system on the left. The steering is adjustable and is a hydraulic unit. Also, the way it looks always reminds you that Kia Carnival is a global model. The power windows get one touch-up-down function which is not only available for drivers but for all the passengers as well. Moreover, ventilated seats are also available there but only for the driver’s side along with the electronic parking brake, Hold assist, etc.

On to the rear seats the second row is just amazing with the best-in-class space on offer and across the segment as well. Moreover, the seats get many adjusts and you can actually move the seats sidewards. On to the center, it gets a smart air purifier which can be controlled from the front and rear. The air conditioner settings for the second-row seats are available on the roof above the sliding doors. The sliding doors are really nice on the vehicle and according to the claims are tested enough. They can be opened and closed from many buttons as well as with the door handles which again is a nice touch.

On to the boot, it’s really massive after all the seats are up with the capacity of 540L. Moreover, the boot lid or the fifth door is automatic and got a party trick as well as if you stand in front of it for three seconds, it automatically opens. Moreover, the second-row seats feature display screens on each side which can be connected with the infotainment display and also supports Amazon fire stick as well. Second-row seats are known as VIP seats and provide dedicated retractable under-thigh support with the independent central armrest for each passenger. Kia Carnival also features a dual sunroof which can be controlled from the rear as well as from the front.

Conclusion

At last, summing up, if you really want a comfortable and class vehicle which contains almost everything or more than everything in some areas then this gonna be the best budget buy. And why I am using the word ‘budget buy’ is because Kia Carnival is actually a cheaper option in this luxury segment.
