After Seltos, Kia has made its mark by its mid-size hatchback, Sonet which is indeed a great value for money and also brings some unique features first in its class. It was initially launched on the 18th of September, 2021 in India and from that day attracted a lot of customers.
Technology and interiors
On the interiors starting with the dashboard the infotainment system is kinda connected with the instrument cluster physically which gives it a unique design. The dashboard is available in a dual-tone color finish. Moreover, plenty of design and glossy finishes are available everywhere including the steering wheel, gear lever, central console, etc.
The steering wheel is quite good and feels premium and contains controls for the audio system and as well as for the cruise control system as well.
Well, technology is an aspect from which Kia Sonet has made to take a position in the market. First of all, talking about the major highlights, Sonet features a wireless charging pad in the GT Line variant and Ventilated front seats which are first in its class. It also gets cruise controls, steering mounted controls for almost everything. The instrument cluster is digital and features an information panel which kinda provides basic information about the vehicle. Moreover, the tachometer and the temperature meter also the fuel meter are analogous.
The party trick in Sonet is its Sunroof which is an industry first in this segment. Sonet also features the inside dimming of the rearview mirror. Moreover, it is also equipped with an air purifier as well.
On the rear, the seats are comfortable enough but it will be much better if they had given more legroom for the rear passengers. The rear seats feature only two headrests i.e. no headrest is available for the middle passengers. However, the door pockets are large enough to hold a 1L bottle. The boot is also of a decent size with a moderate loading lip.

More from Kia India:
Well in terms of specs and features Kia Sonet is absolutely worth it. With its bolder looks like an SUV, it is actually attracting the market a lot but the only main problem with it is with its trim selection as some of the features are there in normal trim while some of the features are lagging behind from GT line.
