From the very first in around September 2019, Hector had created its mark in the automotive market among the SUV segment. MG had launched it, Hector, with Kia’s first Seltos and both, were in great demand at that time. Back then MG also introduced the new facelift version of the MG Hector around January 2021 which was kinda same as the previous one except for some minor changes.
Full Technical specifications
MG Hector is powered by one diesel and one petrol engine. The petrol motor features a 1.5L Turbocharged inter-cooled 4 cylinder engine producing a maximum power of around 141bhp@5000rpm with a torque output of 250Nm@1600-3600rpm. A 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine is used as an option for diesel which produces a maximum power of 167.68bhp@3750rpm with a torque output of 350Nm@1750-2500rpm. The petrol engine is available with Manual, CVT, and DCT transmissions. Moreover, the petrol engine also features Hybrid capabilities with a 48V hybrid battery. On to the diesel engine, it is only available with manual transmission.

Well, MG Hector is the longest, quite spacious, and comfortable SUV cum MUV vehicle with lots of technologies and connectivities integrated within it. And to be honest it will be a good buy if you are thinking of it as an option.
