Tata Harrier’s Turbo Petrol Variant??

Tata Harrier which is currently available in the 2.0L Diesel variant can now be available in the Petrol engine option as well. Reportedly, the new Tata Harrier with the petrol engine option is spotted in the camouflage testing.

However, there is no official statement on this by the manufacturer but still what the leak specs suggest is that the Harrier’s Petrol engine option can be available in only 1.5L in capacity along with a turbocharger making the car capable to produce 150PS of power along with 250Nm of torque. Comparing it with the 2.0L diesel engine in which the Harrier is currently available, it can produce 170PS of power along with 370Nm of torque.

Talking about the transmission options the new Harrier can be available in both manual and automatic transmission options. However, just like the diesel variant, there will be no 4-wheel drive option available in the petrol variant as well.

Also, the new petrol version will feature almost all capabilities of the Diesel version but with a slightly reduced price as expected.

Currently, the Tata Harrier lies in the price bracket of range starting from RS. 14.40 lakhs to Rs. 21.19 lakhs while the Tata Safari starts from Rs. 14.99 lakhs to Rs.23.20 lakhs (ex-showroom prices – Delhi).
