Skoda Slavia launched a couple of days ago, is a replacement to Skoda’s all-time favorite sedan Rapid. Packed with the coolest features in the segment with the best-in-class interiors as you would expect from Skoda, which means a perfect value for money package is offered from the German manufacturer.
Technology and interiors
Starting with the dashboard, the design is really nice with intelligent cuts and creases all together wrapped with the dual-tone finish.
The dashboard contains a 10-inch infotainment display that features Apple car play and Android Auto. On the driver’s side, the instrument cluster is all digital with the 8-inch graphics integrated panel showing you all the information about the vehicle.
Under the infotainment system, the controls for the Air conditioner which happens to be an automatic unit of course are all digital. The central console contains two USB C charging ports along with a wireless charging pad and a standard 12V charging socket. The gear lever is surrounded by the controls which include the settings button for the ventilation system for either side (two settings), the engine starts/stop button, and the button for central locking.
Slavia also includes practical solutions for storage spaces which include twin cup holders on the central console, massive space under the sliding armrest, a large lower glove box, etc.
On the driver’s side, the steering wheel is really nice to hold with only two spokes just like other Skoda vehicles nowadays. The steering wheel also contains buttons for the infotainment system, cruise controls, etc. Moreover, the wheel is also adjustable both for reach and rig.
On to the rear compartment, the seat comfort is overall decent with a good amount of headroom and knee room. The under-thigh support is also decent as compared to what the competition is offering. Rear seats also get two twin AC vents along with two USB C charging sockets which is again a very nice touch. The armrest is also quite decent with twin cup holders moreover the seats also feature a 60:40 split.
The Skoda Slavia also features a sunroof and strangely it is not the case with the Skoda Octavia. The boot of this vehicle happens to be 521L in capacity and is really practical enough with a low loading lip.

Well to be honest Skoda Slavia provides a value-for-money package among the sedans from other german manufacturers. With a spacious cabin, practical, and value for money features, Skoda Slavia can be the most value for money package if you’re preferring a sedan from a German manufacturer.
