Expected Car launches of 2022!!

Overview

The 2021 year bought so many cars starting with Electric to all-time favorite SUVs. Moreover, many manufacturers replaced their entire portfolio in the past year including Skoda, Renault, Nissan, etc. But talking about 2022 many companies have claimed to launch or reveal their vehicle in the coming year few of which are mentioned under.

On the Point

The vehicles which are expected to be launched in the coming year are as mentioned:

  • Citroen C3

Citroen C3 which is a smaller version of the Citroen C5 is expected to launch around March 2022 with the engine configuration of 1.2L Turbo petrol. The car features rivals including the Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, etc.

  • Toyota Rumion

Toyota Rumion which is launched in South Africa is now expected to be launched in India around March 2022. The vehicle will be truly based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and will feature a 1.5L Petrol engine producing a power output of  103HP and 138Nm of torque. Its main competitors are the Ertiga (of course), XL6, Triber, etc.

Toyota Rumion in South Africa:

  • Hyundai Creta (Facelift)

Creta’s facelift version is also set to launch around April 2022. With more integrated features and unique design, it will compete with the Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, etc. The car is expected to be available with 3 engine options which can be the 1.5L Petrol, 1.5L Diesel, and 1.4L Turbo-Petrol engine.

  • Hyundai Tucson

Hyundai Tucson which happens to be a full-sized SUV is expected to launch around January 2022 in India. The powertrain options which the vehicle may feature are 2.0L Petrol and 2.0L Diesel. Moreover, the engines can be mated with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. All these specs tell that Tucson is made to rival the SUV standards in India including Jeep Compass, Citreon C5, etc.

  • Audi Q7

Audi Q7 which is all set to launch in India in early 2022 i.e. in January features a 3.0L V6 Petrol engine option that can produce 335HP and is mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission option (probably Audi’s Tiptronic transmission option).

  • Skoda Slavia

Skoda Slavia which was revealed a few weeks ago is all set to launch around January 2022. The new Skoda Slavia contains a variety of features including the ventilation system, digital instrument cluster, and a lot more. The Skoda Slavia is a perfect rival of Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz etc. Everything about the new Skoda Slavia is listed in the blog below:

  • Volkswagen Virtus

Virtus which is based on the Skoda Slavia is the next upcoming vehicle from Volkswagen India. The vehicle is expected to launch around April 2022. The specs are given in the blog link below. Moreover, in terms of rivals, it features the same rivals as Slavia.

  • MG ZS EV

MG ZS EV is expected to launch around August 2022. The vehicle is actually a facelift version of the MG’s one and only electric vehicle available in India. The vehicle is expected to bring many more features and convenience. However, some of the specs may not be available for the Indian Market.

Conclusion

Like 2021, 2022 is also all booked for new vehicles along with new technologies integrated within them. Once again all the launch dates are not confirmed by the manufacturers it’s just an estimation and the actual dates may be roughly around it.
