Honda City is literally the most famous vehicle from Honda across the globe which is known mostly for its interiors, exteriors and of course for its powertrain. A year ago in around July 2020, Honda launched its City’s 5th generation which looks more futuristic and of course packs more features on its interiors.

City’s 5th generation is powered by a petrol and diesel unit, the petrol one is the 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC BS6 4 cylinder unit which further features VTC (Variable Timing control), it produces a power of 121PS with a torque output of 145 Nm.
The second one which is the diesel unit is a 1.5L i-DTEC DOHC unit which produces a power of 100PS with 200 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated with the 6 speed manual transmission whereas the petrol engine is also integrated with the 7 speed CVT gearbox system. The claimed efficiency is around 17.8kmpl (MT i-VTEC), 24.1kmpl(MT i-DTEC), 18.4kmpl(AT i-VTEC).

Well, Honda City 5th gen is overall a well packaged offer available in the market and believe me as far as the engine options are provided you’ll not suffer any problem in this. The engines this time are highly refined and do an amazing job from acceleration to mid range performance.
