After its entry level hatchback Kwid Renault had launched its mid range hatchback i.e. Kiger which is kinda looks like a facelift of Kwid which is wider and longer. It also features more technologies and connectivities.

Renault Kiger is available in two engine options as of now one is the Energy 1.0L and the other one is Turbo 1.0L. The 1.0L Energy petrol engine produces around 72PS@6250rpm of power and a torque of 96Nm@3500rpm. Moreover, Turbo petrol unit offers 100PS@5000rpm of power and a torque of 152Nm@2200-4400rpm. Both the engine features 3 cylinders and MPFi system.
The 1.0L energy unit is available with manual and AMT as an automatic transmission option while the 1.0L Turbo petrol unit features manual as well as CVT X-Tronic as an automatic option. He claimed fuel efficiency of Energy petrol unit is 19.03kmpl while for the Turbo unit it is 20kmpl.
