Let’s Talk#15; The best luxury lounge vehicle from Toyota!

On to the executive class today, many options are available but in the luxury van segment of in the segment of luxury lounge the options are literally negligible especially in India. But if you are looking to buy one of it! Then Toyota Vellfire would be the best option available in the Indian automotive market.

On the Point

Toyota Vellfire is powered by a 2.5L petrol gasoline hybrid engine. The engine facilitates the power to the battery of the hybrid system which in turn drives an electric motor at the rear axle. The front motors which are purely powered by the engine produces around 105kW@4500rpm of power while the rear electric motor produces 50kW@4608rpm of power. The combined or the maximum output of power from the engine is around 86kW@4700rpm while the max torque output is 198Nm@2800-4000rpm. The hybrid battery is composed of nickel metal hydride and the claimed fuel efficiency of the vehicle is around 16.35kmpl. The vehicle only supports CVT as the transmission option which in turn features 7 speeds in it.

Design Language

Well, to be honest I know that this blog from Let’s Talk Series is being like the one from Review Series but this vehicle is really amazing in my opinion. On to its design language it’s the best in the segment of luxury vans. The automatic headlights feature a projector setup which is humongous with the blue accents in between to represent that hybrid tech of the vehicle.

Well, all of the features as we know will be on the luxury and unique side but the party trick which others cars don’t get except the Kia Carnival in India is its power sliding door which is the greatest feature of luxury especially in these type of vehicles in my opinion.

On to interiors, honestly in just one word it is the best! In the segment!! First and foremost, Vellfire features dual dashboard as obvious with the wooden luxury accents in between and also the infotainment system which gets all the common connectivities such as Apple car play and Android auto. It also features smart link connectivity for that connected vehicle tech on the way.

Vellfire also gets dual sunroofs but all of this doesn’t add to the interior luxury of the vehicle. What makes the interior luxury of the vehicle is its seats, Toyota Vellfire features executive lounge seats to give you an exceptional comfort. Moreover, along with the premium leather the seats also feature massive armrest and passenger spotlight, electronic adjust (for the front seats) adding more into the essence of luxury.

Above all of this, to safeguard the privacy Vellfire features privacy screens on the windows and for the entertainment it is equipped with the entertainment display screen for the rear passengers.

Talking about the safety of the passengers inside the vehicle, Vellfire features 7 SRS airbags and is also integrated with the all-time favourite technology by Toyota VDIM (Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management) system which is also used in Lexus vehicles. Also, for the 360 degrees view Vellfire is equipped with the Panoramic view monitor which shows all the obstacles/objects around the vehicle and it also features TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) into the instrument cluster.

Well, if you are more into the luxury side and wanted a vehicle which is comfortable enough or I mean the most then definitely Toyota Vellfire will be the best option available in India for you. But all this is good if your budget allows it.
