On the evening of 8th of September, 2021 an apologizing notice from Ola been uploaded on their official Instagram handle. Ola electric scooter S1 and S1pro were scheduled to be purchased from the official Ola electric website on 8th of September, 2021 but due to high demand the site it was difficult to hold the load, therefore Ola decided to postpone their purchase date to 15th of September 2021.
Moreover, the notice also states that their vision to make all the tasks digital including the loan approval and purchase payments was failed and they’ll deliver it next time i.e. on 15th of September 2021.
Also, the respected positions of the customers in the scheduled purchase queue will remain unchanged. So if someone reserved first, he/she will get the delivery first. Atlast, Ola also thanked the customers who have waited till now and supported their Ola family.
